supportman Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 I'm just testing the Idex agent on a laptop but having problems with a block page that shouldnt be showing. When the block page shows up it only shows the group that the user is in. Is there any way to find out what the idex agent thinks the user is on the client machine?
Aprice Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 On the Smoothie, under Services, Authentication, User activity it gives you the Username and IP of the device.
Rob_D Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 As the user you can browse to http://[smoothwall IP or address]/login This should show you the currently authenticated user as "logged in".
ibpalle Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 The blockpage itself can be configured to show the username as well. Go to Guardian - block page - Block pages and edit the blockpage advanced setting s to enable showing the username. 1

Seems strange that was disabled by default in the first place. 1
