Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager with 1-3 years’ experience of working in a similar role to join our IT Department here at our York campus.

 

We are seeking an individual who will act as the technical lead for the day-to-day functioning of the IT department and Assist the Head of IT in defining & developing IT standards and ensure governance is in place to adhere to them.

 

The successful candidate will provide technical hardware and software support across all departments within the college and proactively lead change and developments across the college infrastructure. Ideally educated to degree level or have the relevant technical/industry qualifications, with experience of VMware virtualised environments, HP / Aruba network infrastructures, 365 services including Intune and Exchange. You will also be competent in PowerShell development and SQL scripting.
