AB_IT Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Hey All, So I've got a server at another location away from Head Office. I used to have it so our HyperV at Head Office would replicate the server on 15 minute intervals across the internet (utilising our VPN) Though now since I've changed our network over to Unifi switches and a UXG-Pro from our very old Sonicwall it won't replicate and gives me the following error. Not sure if something is blocking it but from my understanding it should just be across port 443. I can Remote Desktop to the server and a ping brings back a reply from head office so I know the VPN etc... is all working. Any ideas?
Norphy Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Have you checked that you can access port 443 from the remote computer? It could still be a firewall issue, even if you can ping it.
Steve21 Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 As above, are you sure inbound 80/443 is enabled rather than just outbound? Also if you have any kind of SSL inspection on is this disabled for the incoming IPs? Steve
AB_IT Posted March 2, 2023 Author Posted March 2, 2023 Hi Both, thank you. I've checked both servers and even turned the firewall completely off but still nothing. Where would I look for the SSL inspection? Can't see anything on the server side unless you mean on the Unifi USG? I have IDS turned on that but I've got both the internal HO subnet and public HO IP in the allowed list.
