Lightspeed MDM Safari shortcuts force closing

Hello,

 

I'm currently having an issue whereby some iPads in school are force closing internet shortcuts created by LightspeedMDM. I dont actually have access to our MDM system it is managed by someone else who is only in school around 6 hours a week. My thoughts are that this may be a caching issue in Safari. Has anyone else had this issue before? Would it just be a case of reinstalling safari through lightspeed? as I have been told that app caches cannot be cleared through lightspeed.

Have you reached out to Lightspeed support to obtain access yourself and get assistance.

I haven't as I thought I would have to use the lightspeed account login which isn't owned by our school. Our overall IT administrator has her own company and works for around 10 schools so it is my job to troubleshoot small issues like this. I have asked her if she has come across this issue before but she hasn't so I thought I would come here first.
