Our UL-35 has kicked the bucket and it's going to be £5000 to put right!! (3700 for a nwe ULR and other stuff) (360 to miove!)

 

Anyones school upgrading or not using a laser cutter?

I've got a spare Universal VLS3.50 30watt at home but I suspect that would be too small for you?

We have been lucky to have funding and did a update in our department.

 

We have an old techsoft lasercam A2 40w Air cooled. It wont run off a modern windows machine and uses a serial port not usb. It pretty much looks like an early GCC Machine setup rebadged by techsoft.

it has an extraction unit and compressor. It works fine as long as your IT department can configure it.

Value wise I would think its worth upto 2k.
