How do I export from SIMS into Excel?

I need to extract attendance data from SIMS into Excel, but I need excel to not report attendance if child is over a certain age by a certain date. Basically I need to report on numbers of under 5's who have attended each day for a particular month, but I need excel to give me numbers on attendance for each day, not numbers who attended every day for that month, if that makes sense?

Your most probably better of exporting the whole lot and then just filtering it, sims isn’t the most clever of applications
