Deploying intune to computer suites

Right looking to take the plunge, our intune rollout with staff laptops has gone well and the staff computer rooms have now got intune devices working. However we have some money to spend on some new desktops this month and with that thinking of making the 4 it suites we have full intune managed devices.

 

My only scepticism I keep having which is niggling at me with intune is on the odd occasion policies have not been bought down in time when staff member has logged in. That worries me slightly with students more than staff and just wondered if I am missing a trick with the setup with user an computer policies.

Not really but how often are you changing policies for them to be required so quickly?

 

here's some tips that might help though:

Use the Intune device targeting feature to deploy policies to specific groups of devices rather than deploying to all devices.

 

Use the Intune troubleshooting feature to identify and resolve any issues that may be causing delays in policy deployment.

 

Use the Intune change management feature to deploy policies during non-peak usage hours to minimize the impact on end-users.

 

Use Azure AD group-based assignments to target specific groups of devices for policy deployment.

 

Avoid creating too many policy or avoid creating complex policies that would take longer to deploy.

 

Use Intune PowerShell SDK to automate the deployment process.

 

Finally, monitor the devices for policy compliance and take necessary action for non-compliant devices.
