KMS Clean-up Question

I've been looking at the KMS server and using the command 'cscript slmgr.vbs /dlv all' gives me 16 entries for Windows Server, using Application ID 55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f, 15 unlicensed and 1 licensed. The licensed entry has the correct partial product key so that's the only one I need. I don't know why there are that many as the KMS server isn't that old but I have added new keys without removing the old key first which has compounded the problem.

 

How would I go about removing the unneeded entries or should I leave well alone? My first thought was to use cscript slmgr.vbs /upk 55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f which I expect would remove all the entries for Windows Server and and then I can add the key again.

 

Thoughts please?

If your clients are activating properly I would leave it alone. I don't think I ever removed old keys from KMS when we were still running it. Might want to think moving over to Active Directory Based Activation instead if all your devices are domain joined.
