mfurneaux Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Hi, I need to fill in for a colleague who is off and do an eDiscovery search for an SAR. I think I've got a handle on how to do the search, but I want to be as precise as possible with it. I need to search for the subject's initials, but they will also show up in hundreds of words. How do I search specifically for the two initials together without also returning other words containing that string? (e.g. search for AB, but don't include 'about') Would searching for " AB " do the job? Thanks!
mjhardisty Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Doesn't look like there is a regex facility in the search ... https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/governance/searching-and-using-keywords-in-the-ediscovery-center Its worth giving the space option a try, though it may disregard it in the actual query.
