Guest Guest Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Has anyone else been having issues with JAMF School? We’ve been having the below and all support tickets seem to go to our reseller who is of no help Restrictions being applied to devices but aren’t set in profile Automatic iOS updates don’t work Automatic app updates don’t work UI seems to be buggy, managed to wipe 14 iPhones when wanting to wipe a single (it said successfully wiped 14 of 1) Our push certificate has “expired” 3 times in the last year (wasn’t revoked) When logging in get prompted to select instance, two are listed both the same though Commands slow to get to device or require a refresh Seriously considering ditching for something else
JRA Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Very very newly rolled out Jamf (though used it before now) but mine's been ok. Are you still having issues?

localzuk Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I've been using it for about 5 or so years here and not had any of the issues you list. With things not updating, I would make sure you've got all the filtering/firewall exceptions you need in place. Apple has a LOT of domains and IPs it uses, and they do periodically change.

I got warnings within the console that certificate was due to expire and devices would need to be reset unless the certificate was renewed. Doesn’t seem like anything network related to me
Guest Guest Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I’ve got all ports open to Apple’s /8 and all Apple domains exempt from TLS inspection, malware scanning and filtering
