Accountable to: IT Services Manager

 

The IT Technician will report to the IT Service Delivery Manager and will support to the local school, the and the wider IT teams across the Trust. They will be responsible for IT support requests in accordance with the helpdesk procedures and priorities. The successful candidate must ensure high quality service delivery to all users in line within the school’s service level agreements and will work with the Central IT Team to ensure continued improvement to IT services. ​The IT Technician will be the first point of contact and responsible for logging support requests. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one years experience as an IT technician. They will ideally possess a recognised academic qualification or experience appropriate to the role. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in working within the education sector. ​The IT Technician will be able to troubleshoot issues and find workarounds and final solutions while providing exceptional customer service. Must be technically competent, self-motivated, and have excellent organisational and customer service skills. Travel to other Trust locations will be required.
