Hi Peeps,

Running into an issue on site whereby we have users that use google drive (file stream) for accessing files as they use excel/word/etc for some of their preferred files. My colleague has recently made a folder redirection policy for desktops for when laptops are offline, and since this change has been in place, whenever the user attempts to open a google drive file in word/excel, it suggests the file path is invalid and can't open it (same with OneDrive also). However when on the network, this all works fine, so we are rather scratching our heads on what could be causing this as it didn't occur prior to the policy implementation. Anyone have any suggestions where me might look to find the root of this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. The policy is not so much the concern, its more what it appears to have caused. So just to reiterate, Google drive file stream and onedrive files that are available and work on network, suddenly no longer work when taken off network, as office apps suggest the file path has changed on any word/excel based file on Google drive. It's rather strange to try and explain! Many thanks for any further suggestions.
