Jobos Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Head has 3 vga monitors and has asked about connecting a TV to mirror middle monitor. TV uses HDMI with no VGA connection. Is there anything cheap that would do this?
Rob_D Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 I'd install a VGA splitter (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005H3I38G/) on the output to the middle monitor and then a VGA>HDMI (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07K14NR8P) converter to go into the TV. Total cost £15-£20. I've use VGA splitters and VGA>HDMI adapters separately without any issues, but never tired to combine them before. 1
Jobos Posted November 2, 2022 Author Posted November 2, 2022 Thanks for the info. I had an old display port to HDMI knocking about which I didn't think would help as his PC is using a dedicated video card but to my surprise it worked. The display ratio was different on the TV as his monitors are the old 5:4 but the TV setting allowed the image to be resized so job done. Thanks again. 1
