ICT TECHNICIAN – FULL TIME

 

Required November 2022

 

APT&C SCALE 4 – POINT RANGE 7-11 £20,444 up to £22,129 per year – pay award pending

 

 

 

We have an exciting key opportunity to join the IT team in our inspirational and inclusive school. We are seeking to appoint a capable, qualified and experienced person to contribute to the development of our expanding grammar school. Information Technology is at the core of our school development planning and processes and this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your own skills and practices as part of our established ICT team. Duties will include:

 

Supporting the maintenance, development and operation of the school’s ICT resources

Monitoring and updating the school’s IT helpdesk portal & ensure a timely resolution to requests and issues logged

Contributing to training and professional development in the use of ICT within the school

Assisting teachers in the integration of ICT within the curriculum across the school

Do you have relevant experience of:

 

Providing technician support in an educational or commercial environment?

Supporting wired and wireless networks?

Implementing system upgrades, carrying out server maintenance and installing applications on client server networks?

Working with systems in a virtual environment?

Participating in implementing cutting edge technologies?

Are you:
