IT Infrastructure Manager

 

Full time - 37.5 hours per week

 

£33,330 - £41,951 (DOE)

 

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join an established Information & Network Services team at Loughborough Schools Foundation.

This position is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person with IT management experience ready to take on a new challenge.

Role Overview

The role of IT Infrastructure Manager has operational responsibility for the IT systems and associated data and learning technologies. This role will report to the Head of Information & Network Services and is directly responsible for the implementation of the strategic developments of IT resources, the day-to-day management of the infrastructure, complex problem solving and the coaching of junior colleagues. This also includes co-ordination of some key suppliers and contractors.

An average working week would look like the below;

 

• Management Responsibilities, department, SLT meetings and future planning – 30%
  
• Systems development and new implementation – 25%
  
• 3rd Line technical support, escalated tickets and problems solving – 45%
  
• Being on call 1 week in 4 (an additional allowance is paid for this).
