fiza Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 We have just noticed that a number of our 120 HP G6 EE Chromebooks have battery bulge where the casing is now curving. These Chromebooks are just out of a 3 year warranty by 3 months. Has anyone come across this before? We don't really want to be replacing Chromebooks at the 3 year point when the Google support expiry is June 2024.
jthompson Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 Not noticed that with that model, but a bulging battery is not something to ignore. You'll want to explore battery replacement. The rest of the device ought to be okay, though. 1
