mdrabble Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 I've managed to dodge both of these until now - Sensitivity Labels and Email Encryption, as in the past things have been sent via password protected documents. With a new Headeacher PA starting, I have been asked to look at possibly setting up Sensitivity Labels our Outlook for staff. Is there a way to force staff to select a Sensitity label before sending emails? Also.... Outlook email encryption, how easy is it to set up and roll this feature to staff? Cheers
djm968 Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Email encryption is quite easy to set-up. Have a look at this guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/set-up-new-message-encryption-capabilities?view=o365-worldwide
psydii Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Also this (for a user's perspective of the feature) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/apply-sensitivity-labels-to-your-files-and-email-in-office-2f96e7cd-d5a4-403b-8bd7-4cc636bae0f9
EssentialRug Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 Apologies to revive an old thread...should we as an organisation be force encrypting every single email that our users send? Or educate our users on how to send encryped emails if needed from 365?
