2097 Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 Before the pandemic we put in 120x HP 260 G2 mini pc's into various classrooms , They all came with 5 years warrenty .... Great Other than the warrenty it seems atleast 90 of the units come with something else , an inherited problem ! The problem is they will suddenly not turn on ( zilch power ) , Only way to get them working again is to remove the cmos battery . I have had HP out on a machine to machine basis to replace motherboards which have worked fine ( some have also been defective again, but still they replaced them also ) I must have had atleast 50 machines motherboards replaced. Now the Stinker, warrenty has just run out on the units and still some of the machines have the problem. What can i do ? Does any one know of a decent email for HP who can look into this ? I never got any where with the HP support call center other than repair a machine when its broken. Also note- Its very random when these machines dont turn on. I can reseat the battery and they could last for months.
