Smoothwall error on loading certain site:

I've got an issue with a user trying to access the below site through our smoothwall

vtesims16.uksouth.cloudapp.azure.com:81

 

It's the port it doesn't like.

When I test the URL in smoothwall I get:

Error - Response: 403 Forbidden. Squid error: ERR_ACCESS_DENIED 0

 

I've tried various things on the smoothwall but currently no joy.

Any ideas please?

have you added port 81 to the web proxy as a usable port?

 

Wep proxy > settings > advanced

 

add the port to the usable ports list?

Yes I added it to the 'Allow access to web servers on these additional ports:' section there but no joy sadly.

How did you test the URL in Smoothwall ? Using the policy tester? Any different results when you try different browsers?

 

The allow access to servers on these additional ports is only valid for https traffic when using proxy settings. It has no effect on transparent proxying or http traffic.
