Our client a small boutique yet growing organisation is looking for a talented and motivated IT Field technician who enjoys giving excellent customer support, covering schools mainly in the West of London. The ideal candidate does NOT need to be a car driver as this role is mainly on school sites within distance of the local transport hubs and you are given a company Travel card. We are looking for IT engineers who can provide :-

  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within schools
  • Providing 1 st/2nd line technical support via helpdesk and onsite
  • Investigate Windows and software issues through diagnostic tools, Windows event viewer and online resources
  • Manage, monitor and ensure the successful deployment of Windows updates and AD policies
  • Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
  • Monitor, add and update IT helpdesk tickets
  • Document all ticket resolution and follow up with all parties involved to ensure the problem was corrected to their satisfaction
  • Support the schools PC and AV infrastructure, including a range of operating systems and hardware devices.
  • Manage computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval
  • Mileage paid – OR Company Travel card
  • Access to clients PMI healthcare scheme

Ideally you will have a minimum of two years’ experience within IT – ideally within the Education sector – but that is not a show-stopper! We are interested to speaking to Field technicians from all sector backgrounds

If you have the required knowledge and experience for this role, then please forward your CV to [email protected]
