Windows Display Adapter - block Windows Connect (windows key + K)

Use a device that enables you to set a password? I think the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter does.

Might not be ideal, but worst case, could run an autohotkey script to catch the key combo and do nothing ?

As the title says I am failing to find a way to prevent students from pressing Windows key + K and potentially have the ability to Windows CONNECT to a device we are going to use to display a powerpoint in the canteen. I've tried method 1 and 2 with no joy: https://www.top-password.com/blog/disable-windows-key-shortcuts-hotkeys-in-windows-10/
Do you require students to use the windows key? We haveba reghack on student machines that disables the windows key on the keyboard. Granted they could fire up the on screen keyboard
