Headphones saying "Mute on" in Teams meetings

I have a new laptop and headphones and when I'm using Teams and I mute/unmute myself I get a message "mute on/off" when toggling this. From what I can see this is a config in the headphones software, but I don't have any software installed. Is there somewhere in Win 10 which I can go to to disable this notification? It's really annoying because the "mute off" message comes on over the top of the meeting I am having.

It will be built in to the headset so need the headset configured, which Win10 will not know about. Which headphones are they? I used to have Poly ones that did this and if you had the software you could change all kinds of cool settings.

It’s probably a driver, I had a Plantronics headset that did similar when the driver was installed
