Good morning

I wonder if anybody can help me please, new to my role here and learnt that as part of the admissions process the school sends thousands of parent e-mail addresses inviting their child in for a test.

The e-mail addresses are in a CSV and the admissions officer then runs a mail merge to create the letter that gets sent as an attachment.

Evidently the guy before me had a script that did this, as in it would send the e-mail from 'admissions@' to the first 50 addresses in the CSV then wait 'x' amount of time before sending to the next 50 and so on until finished. I assume it was being done this way to prevent the message being treated as spam and blocked.

Anyway point is I can't find this script that was being used and can't find anything particularly useful online so was hoping somebody here would have some ideas.

Thanks in advance, it's an on premise Exchange 2019 environment if that helps.

I'm VERY late to this, but I have some script that runs - not on the exchange server but via VBA (Excel + Outlook). Doesn't do delays (easy enough to write in), but does do individual e-mails with mail merge into the e-mail and personal attachments (if you have/need them). Happy to share

Is there no facility in the schools MIS to do this? SIMS InTouch for example?

Another alternative might be to use Office365 if available to setup an email enabled security group and fire out a Microsoft Form?
