i have managed to boot up chrome OS onto my personal Sat Pro notebook. I would like to disable the Add Person option, is there a way to do so?

 

i do not want users to create an account on the device.

Settings > Accounts > Security and privacy > Manager other people

Turn off guest browsing

Turn on Restrict sign in to the following users:

Thanks - i do need guest browsing. However when i did turn on restrict sign in, i am prompted to "who's using the chrome device? and allows to create a child's account on device.

 

i thought it would only show browse as guest option and owner account.

Thanks Paul, went through all the steps again.

 

Still being prompted to who is using the chrome device.

Been a while since I setup a Chromebook. Is that Chromebook actually being managed, have you already logged in on it and assigned a management licence?

i have set up an owner's account on device and no management licence. I am running chrome OS on my personal device at home.
