Benq PB6100 Projector

We have one of the following which someone very kindly lost the remote for. We purchased a new one but cannot get it working with the projector. Does anyone have one of these or had similar problems?

 

The remote has a brand new battery, I have cehcked the Benq website and downloaded the manual but to no avail.

 

Can anyone help???????????????

It is common on Benq projectors for the remote control to suddenly stop working - the fix is to turn the projector of for at least 2mins (has to be 2mins) and then turn it back on again. Hey presto they start working again!!

 

Something to do with the projectors firmware - we have sold loads in the past and this has always worked for us.
