Office 2016 updates

Hi All,

 

I use SCCM /MECM to update office on PC but for some reason beyond my understanding I can't find KB4011240 on my platform to deploy. I have got the .exe package online and it works fine. Please any idea how I can deploy this as a package on SCCM/MECM? (I don't know what switch to use for this). I have tried the /S

 

Or is there any other option for doing this?

For older updates it's normally these two /quiet /norestart

 

Then for the detection method in the application, using powershell it'd be something like -

get-hotfix | Where-Object {$_.HotFixID -match "KB4011240"}

Depending how it shows up in control panel once it's installed

 

The other option, and why it's probably not showing, is you'd go into WSUS on the server, search for the update as it's probably been declined due to its age, and un-decline it, so it resyncs in SCCM next time the sync takes place, then you could deploy it normally
