Worse case hit f12 then select the network tab then refresh and see what is showing an error

Are you using Edge?

 

edu.sketchup.com relies on WebAssembly.

 

Most modern browsers support this. However, in Edge (and maybe other browsers) if you have enhanced security/secure mode enabled then this can often block WebAssembly with the error ‘WebAssembly is not defined’ in the DevTools Console.

 

Fix is to whitelist the site(s) affected. You can exempt sketchup in Edge at http://edge://settings/privacy/secureModeExceptions.

We had an issue where it was hanging due to blocked extensions on our Sophos firewall. Added an extension blocking exception to https://app.sketchup.com/* and this fixed it for us.
