johbreaking Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 Trying to figure this out and keep hitting a dead end. We have a customer who has two accounts one for day to day running and one for admin roles etc in office 365. I am trying to setup having two profiles for them in edge. So profile 1 will be normal and profile 2 will be admin When we set this up for profile 2 it automatically trying to use the profile 1 username when going to office 365 admin. So we can close the request and sign in using another account however it happens every time. Is there a way of stopping this behaviour, I was expecting on profile 2 it would bring up sign in screen or try with second account rather than first one.
Katy Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Have you signed into the profile itself (so it'd show "Work 2, adminuser@domain" in the list, rather than just "Work 2")? I found that when you've signed into the browser profile itself, then any Office 365 based sites you visit log in as that user, rather than as the user which is logged onto Windows. 1

Yes signed into both so work 1 shows @firstdomain and work 2 shows @seconddomain
