Odd issue with Google photos app on an iPad

Reception class have just gone from Androids to iPads. They have 3 iPads that the teacher has signed into all off them as the same user. They are using Google photo and have the app installed on the iPads. When she takes a photo on one it syncs the photos to Google photos cloud, but if she then uses a different iPad, Google photos only displays the photos that have been taken on that iPad, not the other iPads, even though Google photos cloud displays all the photos from each iPads.

 

She says they always synced up and down to each tablet when they were using Androids.

 

Any ideas?

Well they all just magically started to display the other photos.
