IT Support Technician

 

Location: Sutton Valence, Maidstone, Kent

Salary: £21,200

 

Hours: Full time, all year round, permanent position. Primary 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch, approx. 10 Saturday mornings per year 8am to 12pm. Where a Saturday is worked, time in lieu is taken during the week.

We are looking for an IT Support Technician with experience to join the small, well-established, enthusiastic and approachable team providing technical support across our two School sites.

 

You will support the Network Manager in running the IT infrastructure and systems across both sites. Reporting directly to him, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of hardware and software solutions in the teaching, learning and business environments. We are looking for a knowledgeable, reliable and enthusiastic person who is dependable and highly motivated with a superb customer service attitude. The successful candidate will be good at thinking quickly, problem solving and have the ability to stay calm in a crisis. The ability to comfortably communicate with both technical and non-technical people is key, as is good numeracy and literacy skills. There are excellent opportunities for continued professional development and on-the-job training provided by the School.
