geohanson Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Hi all, I'm currently building up a new set of GPOs to migrate away from RM CC4. I'm struggling to get rid of the 'Open File Location' which shows up after you search for an app in the search bar. We are using Redirected Start menus, and have a share with all the relevant shortcuts that we want to be displayed. This works fine. I've applied both "Disable context menus in the Start Menu" and "Remove access to the context menu for the taskbar", which prevent users from right-clicking on icons in the actual start menu, however, I can still click 'Open File Location' when I search for an app in the search bar which takes me straight to the share containing all the redirected start menu icons.... Is there a way to solve this or will I just have to disable the search bar? Thanks
