[sims] Removing students from individual classes

Afternoon all, I'm having an issue with class lists and registers and need help!!

For our year 12 students we put them into 12 individual study lessons, which is timetabled as alternative curriculum. After Christmas (ie now) if their overall attendance has been good then we reduce it down to 6.

The problem that I am having is that students who have had lessons removed are still appearing on registers and class lists! Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can remove them?!?
