An opportunity has arisen to join our school in an interesting and varied IT support role. We are looking for someone who loves all things Tech to keep IT systems across the school working, support lesson delivery and take a lead in installing new systems, assist on new projects and work with a broad range of different technologies.

 

Fortismere is a mixed secondary school with over 1800 pupils in Key Stages 3-5. It is spread across a large site in the heart of Muswell Hill. You will have the opportunity to work with Windows, Macs and Chromebooks and their respective management platforms and tools. We have robust back-end network hardware and a hands-on approach to finding the right tech solutions for the school.

 

We are looking for someone with a demonstrable aptitude for technology, whether that be experience in a similar role or appropriate qualifications. The post also demands strong interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with staff and students across a range of technical levels.

 

In this role you will be supported and mentored by the ICT Systems and Network Manager; you will also have opportunity to mentor apprentice technicians.

Just to add a couple more details, the job is 52 weeks a year, with a 30 day total annual leave allocation.

 

There is staff parking available on site, along with bike facilities and decent public transport links.
