We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, competent and skilled Technician to take responsibility for all the technical aspects of school productions and events, specifically sound and lighting. The post-holder will be responsible for rigging, plotting and programming lighting and sound, in both our Main Hall space and our Drama Studio. They will have the opportunity to support extra-curricular activities, such as the running of the “Tech Club”, which involves giving instruction to the students in the safe use of technical equipment.

They would ideally have knowledge of video production and editing, to produce high quality videos to be used for virtual school events including prospective parents’ evenings and the school’s annual Awards Evening as well as other digital content.

Knowledge of set design and prop making, whilst not a requirement, would be seen as an advantage.

The successful applicant will also need to offer assistance in front line support of the school’s computer network. Flexibility in working hours essential during productions
