Deputy ICT Operations Manager

 

Hours: Full time

Salary: GDST Scale Grade 4 £29,000 - £33,000 pa, dependent on experience

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

As Deputy ICT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of technical support for Wimbledon High School’s ICT systems and ensuring resilient security and fall back systems are in place.

 

You will also deputise as required for the ICT Operations Manager and assist with operations as directed by the ICT Operations Manager.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

 

  • Providing proactive advice on ways to avoid technical incidents
  • Providing technical advice in support of the resolution of ICT incidents
  • Working with the Trust Office central ICT team to ensure escalated ICT issues are resolved and to implement ICT systems
  • Documenting the setup and configuration of all school ICT systems and ensuring operating procedures are in place

 

You will need proven experience of server and network infrastructure as well as experience of diagnosing and resolving complex technical errors and providing advice and guidance to users. Experience of implementing ICT systems change is equally important.
