Assistant IT Network Manager

Actual annual salary: £27,741 to £32,234

Salary Scale Point range 23-28

Monday to Friday 37 hours per week (All Year Round)

Pattern of hours: 7.45am to 3.45pm with an early finish of 3.15pm on one day each week

Some flexibility will be required, on occasions, to suit the operational needs of the school

We are seeking an experienced Assistant IT Network Manager to manage and develop our network infrastructure and IT team within a school judged by OFSTED as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas, a school where both student achievement and attitudes to learning are amongst the best in the region. We are a fantastic learning community, set in one of Yorkshire’s most scenic areas, whose facilities have been further enhanced by the completion of a multi-million pound refurbishment and expansion project.

We are looking for a customer focused, experienced Assistant IT Network Manager:

 

  • To provide support for the operational running of the IT network infrastructure and IT resources within the Academy and deputise for the Trust IT Network Manager.

 

  • To support the Trust IT Network Manager in developing the IT function to progress the objectives of the school and Trust and support teaching and learning in the most effective way.

 

  • To work with other schools within Moorlands Learning Trust to ensure a consistent strategic approach to the service and continuous improvement, including the management of streamlining systems over time to achieve common Trust solutions and systems.
