For what it's worth, the original purchase price for these was about £10 if you bought them in packs of ten, so I think your man on eBay is trying his luck a bit at £50 each.

Well Dave I'm afraid that's the going price for them if you want to buy them on eBay....more than just the one seller too!....anyway sold them for £300 for the lot no probs....you know what they say 'when they've gone they've gone!'....have a good life....Merry Christmas...[emoji106][emoji41]

That's like saying people selling a house for £250,000 that 80's for £20,000 are not reasonable. The original purchase price isn't relevant, market demand is.

I get your analogy, but Apples and oranges, the two aren't directly comparable.

 

There are people on this forum giving those pens away for free, and for many people, Promethean are marketing a working alternative at a fraction of the price.

I'm well happy Dave and the person who bought them is well happy too...so two happy chappies and one unhappy chappy ain't bad is it?.... supply and demand is a driving feature of business and always has been....you pays your money and you takes your choice....simple!
