bossman Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Having searched on eBay new pens are selling for £50 plus each if anyone is interested PM me for price....
bossman Posted December 9, 2021 Author Posted December 9, 2021 I was hoping to sell them as a job lot for £300...I'll sell them separately for £35 each if no one commits to buying all ten....
DavR Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 For what it's worth, the original purchase price for these was about £10 if you bought them in packs of ten, so I think your man on eBay is trying his luck a bit at £50 each.
bossman Posted December 12, 2021 Author Posted December 12, 2021 Well Dave I'm afraid that's the going price for them if you want to buy them on eBay....more than just the one seller too!....anyway sold them for £300 for the lot no probs....you know what they say 'when they've gone they've gone!'....have a good life....Merry Christmas...[emoji106][emoji41]
DavR Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Nice result for you Especially as most 2nd Gen Activboards (AB2) can use these replacement models after a firmware upgrade now - https://askelite.co.uk/collections/featured-products/products/promethean-activarena-pen-set-araac2penset

That's like saying people selling a house for £250,000 that 80's for £20,000 are not reasonable. The original purchase price isn't relevant, market demand is.

The original purchase price isn't relevant, market demand is. I get your analogy, but Apples and oranges, the two aren't directly comparable. There are people on this forum giving those pens away for free, and for many people, Promethean are marketing a working alternative at a fraction of the price.
bossman Posted December 13, 2021 Author Posted December 13, 2021 I'm well happy Dave and the person who bought them is well happy too...so two happy chappies and one unhappy chappy ain't bad is it?.... supply and demand is a driving feature of business and always has been....you pays your money and you takes your choice....simple! Merry Christmas Dave...[emoji106]
