Multiple heads of year

We've really merged our pastoral structure for the sixth form - so rather than HOY12 and HOY13 we've really got two HOY jointly looking after both years. Can't seem to get this into the pastoral structure?

 

Do I need to add the second HOY as a supervisor - or can I have two HOY?

I don't know if this helps or confuses things:

 

We have three year groups in the Sixth Form.

 

Students belong in, are taught in, and have HOY teams in "Year 12" and "Year 13". However there is only 1 dummy Registration Group in these years.

 

We then have a "Sixth Form" year group which has all the Registration Groups in. This has no student members; they're all in their correct Y12/Y13 year.

 

In August we move everyone into Sixth Form whilst we put them into mixed registration groups, then move them back into Y12/Y13.
