You will: • Be an outstanding ICT support practitioner with successful support experience within the education sector. • Have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems, network/wireless technologies, Apple technology, Internet Filtration, IT hardware support and education software titles. • Have a clear understanding of ICT related issues and their impact on school standards. • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. • Hold or be able to gain enhanced CRB clearance. Be required to: • Provide a regular on site network management service to primary schools across Greater Manchester • Provide remote technical assistance to schools • Provide hands on practical advice and guidance to schools to develop and maintain their ICT network. Have a good understanding of ISP services and filtration tools. • Ensure Malware, GDPR and backup/disaster recovery processes are in place and monitored regularly. • Maintain a help desk facility and provide clients with regular feedback. • Support teachers to continue to raise the quality of cross-curricular provision in the context of a broad and rich curriculum through the use of ICT. • Work as part of a Technical Team providing support on a range of Windows, Apple, Cloud, Tablet and other technologies. Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
