James-kennedy1997 Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 We have resently installed new HP Aruba WiFi at one of the schools I work at and after the install we started having problems with Toshiba Laptops having a stable network connection, we have narrowed the problem down to the Toshiba WiFi cards not supporting WPA3 properly, i have been looking for a WiFi card to put in them to fix the problem and have found one (https://www.amazon.co.uk/MPE-AX3000H-802-11ax-Wireless-Express-Network-WIFI-6/dp/B091FJXQHH) but was wondering if anyone else has had a simulter problem and has found a card that works well in older laptops.
mavhc Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 I'm surprised WPA3 would be a hardware issue, not a lack of OS/driver updates.
James-kennedy1997 Posted November 22, 2021 Author Posted November 22, 2021 its most lightly a driver problem but there is no newer driver the laptops are 3ed Gen intel chips to quite old so need something thats newer
