Koldov Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 During my testing I changed a GPO setting, but now I want to test it with that setting removed. However, going back into the setting there doesn't seem to be an option to do that... Any ideas on how I can reset that to 'Not Defined'?
RLR Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Mine has a tick box. Wondering if it might be a version thing?

Koldov Posted October 21, 2021 Author Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) Interesting... Actually it might be that it is a 'local policy' on a test VM, not a DC with Group Policy Management. So I got to it via GPEDIT.MSC and not GPMC.MMC I don't think the local policy editor has a tick box (checked on my PC - it hasn't)? I've seen that maybe deleting the corresponding registry key may reset it... EDIT: We do have the tick box in the Group Policy Management on our 'production' server. Edited October 21, 2021 by Koldov
Koldov Posted October 21, 2021 Author Posted October 21, 2021 Yes, it was deleting a reg key... Deleted the key and it has gone back to 'Not Defined'
