Windows 11 and OneDrive

I am just testing out Windows 11 and Intune. I have got a laptop, deployed Windows 11 through AutoPilot, set some policies through Intune, all working well.

 

However, in the context menu for files in OneDrive I have no option to share. I have the options for keeping on device and free up space but none to share. I have tried all the various online suggestions about changing UAC but still not been successful. I have tried removing the restrictions policy and still cannot get it to appear in the context menu.

 

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same or got any ideas on what to do next?

Should be a "Show more options" item at the bottom of the win11 condensed context menu, can then Share as normal...

Yeah, even when looking at the Show more options, there is no option for Share in there.

I didn't think too much of it at the time (yesterday), but I had/have the exact same issue. We are also Intune and AutoPilot.

 

I also have an issue whereby we restrict the MS Store app to only being the private store, this is not working. Intune have said that this is not an issue on their part, the CSP is missing from Windows 11 and therefore it won't work, they are hoping it will be added back in at some point, but they could not get anything concrete other than it was a Windows issue and not an Intune one.

Are you perhaps doing something to block it? I am looking at Win11 with OneDrive and Share is right there for me in the 'hidden' context menu.

So I have tried removing all the device restrictions profiles and that has not made any difference. If I have a normal Windows 11 install (Not AAD Joined or Intune managed or AutoPilot) and sign into OneDrive then the Share option is there as it should be.

 

The only issue I have with the Store is it doesn't seem to want to connect but that could be a side issue for me to be fair.

Do you limit to just the private store? When I open the store the user has to sign in twice (normally it is SSO with no sign in shown), then I get a cannot connect, refreshing twice shows the full store.

For sso on the registry key is it set as create or update?

So I'm going to be setting up a new laptop later today with Windows 11 and Intune again. When I looked last week, in the full context menu when I clicked on the Share option (which didn't have the OneDrive icon next to it) it did then bring up the OneDrive box to share with users. I have not changed anything though and that option used to bring up the Windows sharing box to add domain or local users, so I'm not really sure what has changed. I do need to look into the Windows Store though I am having some strange issues on that still.

And today, I have a OneDrive -> Share icon ! How odd!!
