faza Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 I have recently brought 60 new machines. I have created a new RIS image for them and RIS'ed them all apart from one which just gets stuck after it has been RIS'ed. It puts the image on the machine, but when it restarts and when it gets to the XP setup it gets stuck there and does nothing. I thought it may be an issue with the SIF file so i removed the product Key etc but still the same. Any ideas Faza
faza Posted June 18, 2008 Author Posted June 18, 2008 Its a SP3 Image but on an Intel Processor, its so strange the rest of the 60 worked fine.
jsnetman Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 (edited) Make sure the bios power settings are the same on the dodgy machine, s1, s2, s3 if they are different this can cause an image to fail through my experience. It shouldnt be different if they are new machines but if failing that set the bios to its default setting. Other thing it could be is a faulty HD. Edited June 18, 2008 by jsnetman
