HP ACL for a UDP Range

Hi all,

I need to allow some traffic out of a VLAN to the Internet. Because of how we are setup our Internet goes via a STUB network.

 

Can anyone help me get the syntax correct. If I want to allow UDP traffic on a range of ports can I use something like

 

222 PERMIT UDP ANY ANY RANGE 2000 2500

 

Will this allow all ports between 2000 and 2500 or just the two individual ports 2000,2500?

 

This is for Twilio parents evening software. The firewall has already been done by the ISP.

My understanding is that the range flag specifies all ports between the given port numbers.
