[21h1] Redirect Desktop icons disappearing on sleep

Hi All,

 

We have an odd issue since moving to 21H1, our redirected desktop icons will vanish when users come back to their PC's -

 

They come back of course, and after a tap of 'F5' but this is not really a solution.

 

We have tried to set some GPO's to prevent the network cards going to sleep, but with no joy.

 

Anyone experiencing this or a similar issue?

It could be the hard disk going into sleep mode - try turning off the sleep mode.

I'm trying not to alter any sleep settings as I don't want to cause anyone's equipment to be left on more than it already is!

Yes, fileshare on the server - Hence we tried to keep the LAN card awake but with no joy
