I have recently become aware of a problem we have. In the IT dept., our accounts were admin accounts. I have changed this so we each have a standard account, and each have and admin account as it should be. Since I have done this I have noticed that when looking in Windows Explorer, the "Recent Files" list is empty. Also, I have Remote Desktop and Word pinned to my taskbar. If I right click on these icons as soon as I log on, they have no history. It will build up my 'recents' during that session, but when I log off and log on again it's empty again. I have also now found that everyone has this issue, but no-one else has noticed/minds so no-one has reported it to me and when our accounts were admins we didn't have the issue so we didn't know. I have a few folder redirect errors in the Event Log, but they are for videos/pictures etc. which wouldn't store any profile data anyway. Any thoughts please?

It's pretty inconsistent. For me, I have 3 shortcuts to the same executable and only one will get a list of recent files, not always the same one either.
