We currently are using Macbooks for staff and they use ActivInspire for the promethan boards to plan etc. We are considering replacing the Macbooks with Chromebooks but are struggling to find an alterative to ActivInspire. Does anybody know of any Chromebook apps that can open, edit and save ActivInspire Flipcharts? Thank you!
DavR Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Have you had a look at ClassFlow? This is Promethean's recommended option for Chromebooks. It's a version of ActivInspire that runs cloud-based through your web browser. I don't think it opens ActivInspire flipcharts directly, but it can import (and maybe export?). It's free to sign up so might be worth a look. I've not used it myself though.
paulkerton Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I wish Promethean hadn't cowereded out when sunsetting ActivInspire and would've pushed through the move to ClassFlow. I wish Becta had managed to force an interoperable standard before being shuttered! 2
