Net2 Photo imports

Morning all

 

I have bulk imported user accounts to Net2 but wondering about Photos.

 

Looking to import just short short of 200 photos into Net2 - is there an easier way of doing it other than having to manually adding each photo?

If you have the photos on sims, then salamander can sync them.

With the sims write back licence salamander can do that as well..

Just checking with our SIMS person if we can bulk import photos without any additional licenses - we take all the photos on the first day and then I use excel help create the basis of a script I can copy and run to rename the photos to their admission number.

 

If when I have done that, we can bulk import into SIMS and then I thing SIMS -> Net2 is on the cards

You do need a licence to do sims bulk imports, can't remember cost.

I used a quick and dirty powershell script to create a vcf file for each student to import (This doesn't update photos unfortunately) and then encode the image into the vcf, after that you can zip all the vcf's together and import that one zip into Net2

Turns out we have the photo licence, so I am thinking will go down import to SIMS and then export to Net2 using Salamander.

Nope, we manually import them still
