Saadi_y Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Hi We are small private company in two storey building with 3 doors. Two doors are connected to our paxton net2 v6 server. One door is connected to other company’s system. I have been given public IP address to make a connection attempt from our net2 client. Can anyone please advise how would I do it. Only place I can see is in Net2 server configuration -tcp/ip node which is for network interfaces which are our two doors. Ip address is whitelisted in firewall. Thanks in advance Regards
andy_b Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 This is the Paxton documentation - https://www.paxton-access.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/AN1006.pdf But I don't think you are going to be able to "just add it" to your server -as it would wipe out the existing configuration and the other company wouldn't be very happy. Can't you just get the other company to add your tokens to there system?
Saadi_y Posted August 12, 2021 Author Posted August 12, 2021 Thank you for replying Are you saying , once ip address is whitelisted , I will click on detect and it will pick the configuration from their system. Or they will give me MAC address and ip for their door and I will add that
Saadi_y Posted August 13, 2021 Author Posted August 13, 2021 Hi Andy_b You are right , we just cannot add it from remote as our client version is old .I will start new post regarding this. thank you for your help
