Westcom Networks are looking to appoint a IT Support Technician to start as soon as possible working full time on site at Bradford Girls Grammar School.

 

The work will involve both first and second line support. An ideal role for someone with experience working in a school or college and looking to advance their career.

 

You will be responsible for the provision, maintenance and support (including but not limited to) desktops, servers, infrastructure, network switches, firewalls, peripherals, printer consumables, projectors, telephone systems, mobile devices, wireless networks, interactive whiteboards and displays and all associated equipment as required. Generating and maintaining good documentation and dealing with day-to-day help desk calls.

 

We are looking for a well-rounded technician with excellent communication skills who will be working to ensure staff & pupils receive the highest level of service possible. The candidate would need to share the schools committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
